This podcast is a recording of the Preface to Blackie's "Greek and English Dialogues", notable for its pedagogic interest. Blackie's book was published in 1875, and is interesting if only for historical reasons. Blackie shows a keen sensitivity to the need for spoken and conversational ability in Greek and Latin.
